bending

16

According to DIN 8586, bending is a process in which the plastic deformation of a solid body, such as a metal sheet, is mainly generated by bending stress. In this process, the material is bent beyond the original shape to achieve permanent deformation. This method is commonly used in the manufacturing industry, particularly sheet metal fabrication, to create complex three-dimensional structures.
