Drawing Press For Tank Fitting

For large sheet metal parts and sheet metal structures there is often a requirement to produce dome shapes, notches or fitting (passthroughs). These applications include unpressurized tank containers for vehicles, wine tanks or chemical containers. The formations can be shaped either from the inside to the outside or from the outside to the inside.

Due to the large dimensions of the material to be formed, punching presses with a wide projection (C-frame) and a large mounting space are usually required. Conventional press series often only offer oversized presses for these requirements.
